In continuation of my Despatch Confidential

of the 10th. April, 1919, I have the honour to forward here-

-with six copies of a pamphlet entitled "The Trade of South

China" which has recently been published by the Propaganda

Committee.

A large number of these pamphlets has

been taken to England by Mr. C. Montague Ede, Chairman of the

Committee, who will present them to the Board of Trade and the

London Chamber of Commerce. A further supply will be sent to

Mr. E. E. Long, Sir Ralph Williams and Mr. Wilson, Secretary

of the British Empire Union.

3.

I may add that several local firms have

already applied to the Committee for large quantities to

distribute to their home agents.
